I gaze upon her,
Passionate energy propelling her,
bouncing at corners,
a swirl of ideas.
Busying, replacing,
Organisation, scattered,
Yet unfolding, neatly,
beautiful as ballet.
Still now, on pillows,
Lips meet coffee beans,
Cigarette smoke in clouding eyes,
Beautifully music plays, between brief sips.
A heart skips to it's beat,
twinkling eyes,
A heaven sent smile,
Life's vast canvas holds no prettier sight.
A life could be spent,
Like this,
A perfect moment,
in which to reside within.
But relentlessly, time continues,
Moments pass by,
Then seasons,
But a heart beats on,
Just a fragment left,
in an endless thought,
forever more.

Smoke
This won't be the last one.
Not until you mean it.
It isn't pleasing as to shake off a bad cold,
more,
a denial
of a comfort,
a short break from life,
without which,
life would take a heavier toll.
The world rushes on outside,
poisoning itself with it's drug of choice.
Alcohol flows freely into the mouths,
of the young,
and old alike.
The weekend brawlers,
became the majority
Now with haze surrounding,
decision making
becomes
slower
as to almost cease.
The drunken world approaches outside
it peeks in, at window corners,
and judges
and frowns.
I care not and tap my ash away,
I will stop if they will,
maybe,
Tomorrow.

Wedding blues
So here I am, surrounded by bunting, two union jacks ready to be waved, bottles of champagne and way too much food... But hang on... What do you mean I have to work tomorrow?!!!!! FFS, I thought this was a public holiday. *throws down will and Kate headband in disgust*

The neverending swindle
I have just been reading about the £7.7m pay packet, that the UK government has approved for the chief of Rbs. How on earth can they justify making such a ridiculously large payment to the head of a bank that is 83% owned by UK taxpayers and managed to lose over a billion pounds last year? Its another slap in the face for those of us now suffering rising prices and a bleak future in this country, due to a financial collapse caused by these very same banks. I don't begrudge somebody in an important position receiving a good pay packet, but £7 million just shows once again that the banking industry lives in an entirely different world to the rest of us. It's frankly disgusting behaviour, that we seem to be powerless to stop.

Palermo v Cesena match fixed?
This is an unusual subject for me to touch upon, but I've had a strange incident happen today that I feel is worth mentioning.
I tried to place a football bet today on Palermo to beat Cessena in the Italian Serie A match on Victor Chandlers website, now after trying unsuccessfully to find the match in their listings I contacted their support guys and asked if they could put up some prices for the match. I was told shortly afterwards that they would unfortunately not be providing odds for this game due to "suspicious betting patterns".
Now, I should have took their warning on board and given the match a swerve, but as I was just leaving for work and I'd already spent a while choosing my teams, I just decided to place the bet with another site that did have the match listed.
So anyway, there I was in the afternoon at work, checking the results on my phone and the Palermo match is 90mins gone and almost finished, Palermo are beating Cesena by 2 goals to 0, and Cesena are down to 9 men after having two guys sent off. I walked away from my phone to serve a customer and returned 5 mins later to find that the game had finished 2-2 !!!!!
Now, let me stress here, I've regularly placed football bets for many years and am no stranger to a late goal ruining a bet, and the bet I placed was a small one, so I'm not annoyed by any massive cash loss, but in the context of the comments from Victor Chandlers web team and the manner of the results outcome, this sure looks like a fixed match to me wouldn't you say?

Singing the blues (and getting out of breath)
30th, birthday went with a whimper. A self planned whimper it's fair to say. The idea of a big fanfare celebration seemed at odds with my general view on the situation. Nothing to celebrate
I really need to get in shape, a short jog to the shops would probably kill Me these days... If I ever tried. Its knowing where to start that's the problem, yoga maybe to loosen up?, or some home exercises to ease myself in to active living. Making these good intentions turn into actions is where the battle really starts though.
I'm so damn lazy
